Is your workplace, school, daycare, place of worship, or open area venue prepared to handle an active shooter or active threat situation? The likelihood of an incident happening at your workplace is very low. However, being prepared to deal with this type of situation by recognizing the potential for an incident is the responsibility of all employees. Our training suggests the basic protocols that should be followed when preparing for, during, and after an active shooter or active threat incident. It provides options to utilize when confronted by an active shooter and ways to assist responding law enforcement. Guidelines will differ at each venue depending on location, building layout, number of employees, availability of security, etc. We offer security consulting with an all-hazards approach for all types of venues to include residential homes.
